PR Entertainment, Inc., has a lot of new, exciting projects this summer. We’re proud to have been awarded the contract to service this year’s Lake Tahoe Music Festival (www.tahoemusic.org). The Blues Traveler took the stage at the outdoor amphitheater at the Northstar Village to kick-off the series. The near capacity crowd was on their feet the entire show as John Popper whaled his popular hits with his band. The setting couldn’t be more perfect with the village stops, bars, and restaurants surrounding the concert venue. Northstar did it right with plenty of food & beverage stands throughout the facility. Parking is easy, staff is friendly, and the sound couldn’t be more clear and full. We are super excited to present singer/songwriter Colbie Callait on Thursday, August 4, followed by hit-maker Michael Bolton on August 25. Do yourself a favor this summer, and enjoy the outdoor music festival at Northstar.
Another new gig is with the Outside TV network/Lake Tahoe Television (www.laketahoetelevision.net). We are now hosting the “Tahoe Tonight” show which airs three times daily in Lake Tahoe,Reno, andCarson City. This 30-minute talk show features entertainment updates, north shore reports, and interesting interviews. A brand new segment called “Backstage With PR” will start airing this month featuring interviews with upcoming artists and celebrites playing the market, and backstage interviews with bands and headliners. Frontman, Aaron Lewis of Staind, will be on the, Medium James Van Praagh, Chelsea Lately comedian Loni Love, and lots more. Don’t miss the brand new “Backstage With PR” on Lake Tahoe TV. Check your local listings for channel and times.
Last year, my co-producer Tony Clark and I won the coveted 2010 “Producer of the Year” award from the International Magician Society, which is to magic what the Oscars are the movies. Tony and I have produced over 14 award-winning theatrical production shows around the world, including the family-friendly show, “Masters Of Magic” which has returned for it’s 3rd season at MontBleu Casino. Lake Tahoe’s only all-ages family show, “Masters of Magic”, features Magician of the Year, Tony Clark, Stage Magician of the Year, Danny Cole, and the lovely Stacy Cole, Christopher Hart from The Addams Family movies (“Thing”), as well as Farrell Dillion from TV’s Masters of Illusion. “Masters Of Magic” runs nightly Wednesday-Sunday, at 8p, with two shows on Saturday 7pm & 9pm. This is an all-ages show perfect for the entire family. $19.95 for adults, $14.95 for children 17 and under. MontBleu offers amazing Buffet/Show packages with discounts up to $5.00 per adult on show tickets.

Fans have fallen head over heels in love with Chelsea Handler and made E!’s hit show, Chelsea Lately a nightly destination for laughs and all out insanity. For one night only catch LIVE stand-up performances by your favorite Chelsea Lately comedians, Loni Love, Jen Kirkman, Fortune Feimster, and Chelsea’s “Little Nugget”, Chuy. They will take MontBleu’s stage on Saturday, Aug 13. Ticket are on sale now starting at just $25. This will be a great night of comedy.
One of the hottest tickets of the summer will be Thirty Seconds To Mars, Sunday, Sept 4 at MontBleu. Formed in 1998 by frontman (Actor) Jared Leto and his older brother, Thirty Seconds to Mars found success in the 2000s with a mix of post-grunge, screamo, and hard rock. The band gained a modest audience with its debut album, but it was the platinum-selling sophomore effort A Beautiful Lie that officially opened the flood gates in 2005, securing the band a frequent presence on MTV while paving the way for a number of successful tours. Get your tickets early as this show will sell-out.
Ziggy Marley, the son of the legendary Bob Marley, is coming to the MontBleu Theatre, Sunday, September 25. Rumor has it that Trevor Hall will join on this show, but at the time of this writing could not be confirmed.
