This year marks PR Entertainment’s 10th year anniversary celebrating our partnership with Tony Clark Productions, a Los Angeles-based entertainment firm, and collectively we have co-produced over a dozen award-winning theatrical shows around the country, and in Lake Tahoe. In 2010, Tony Clark and I were the recipients of the coveted Merlin Award for “Producers of the Year”, which was a very proud moment and milestone for the work we’ve done with in magic. To commemorate our decade of shows, we are producing a brand new production show for the Horizon Resort’s Golden Cabaret, Illusion Fusion Starring Alex Ramon, will open January 11, 2012 for an open-ended run. Alex Ramon is no stranger to the international stage and has mesmerized millions around the world., performing on 4 continents in 14 countries. He’s was the first magician in history to star as the “Magical Zingmaster” for Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey® circus, The Greatest Show on Earth®. Alex also toured the globe as the star of Disney Live! Ramon won the coveted “Stage Magician Of The Year”, along with other high honors such has the Lance Burton Award, and was the National Stage Magician Champion. Illusion Fusion will perform 6 shows a week, Thursday thru Monday at 8p, with two shows on Saturday at 7p & 9p. The show is suitable for people of all ages. We are proud to announce a partial list of confirmed shows for the 2012 Ski/Snowboard season. Singer/Songwriter Lucinda Williams will bring her acoustic duo tour to Lake Tahoe, January 21. Then one of the funniest ladies on television, Whitney Cummings will bring her stand-up comedy to MontBleu, February 4, then one of the most popular ska/rock bands, The Expendables, will take the stage February 12. The talented and funny star of Whose Line Is It Anyway, Wayne Brady, will be making audiences laugh over President’s Day weekend, Saturday, February 18. An awesome package of California Reggae, Iration/Trevor Hall/Thrive will all be on the same bill for one night of amazing music, Saturday, February 25. Then one of my personal favorite bands, 311 w/ special guests The Dirty Heads, will be performing in Tahoe, March 6. The Godfather of Funk, George Clinton & Parliament Funkadelics return to the MontBleu Theatre Thursday, March 22, then Actor/Comedian and SNL star, Rob Schneider will return to the stage at MontBleu for a command performance Saturday, March 24. Our show, “Tahoe Tonight”, airs three times daily in Lake Tahoe, Reno, and Carson City. This 30-minute talk show features entertainment updates, north shore reports, and interesting interviews.
